Thanks for visiting Hooh.la. We’re a small needlecraft studio from Portugal and we try to keep things simple and fair. If anything here feels unclear, just email iryna@hooh.la — we reply within 1 business day.

1) Who we are

Hooh.la Studio operated by Iryna Stegnii (NIF 321517300). Registered address: Rua Alexandra Braga, 11, 3430-007 Carregal do Sal, Portugal.
We design and sell digital needlecraft patterns (PDF downloads) on hooh.la.

2) Scope & language

These Terms apply to all purchases on hooh.la. Support is available in English, Portuguese and Ukrainian.

3) Products, colours & sizes

We describe our digital products carefully, but small variations can happen (screens and printers differ).

Any sizes shown are guides (e.g., based on typical fabric counts). Please read the listing details on each product page before purchase.

4) Prices, taxes & currency

Prices are displayed in your selected currency (EUR by default). Final totals, taxes (including VAT where applicable), and any currency conversion are shown at checkout. Your bank/payment provider may apply additional exchange rates or fees.

5) Ordering & our confirmation

After checkout you’ll get an order confirmation email. The sales contract is formed when we accept your order and make the digital content available. If there’s an obvious pricing error or another issue with the order, we’ll contact you and issue a refund where appropriate.

6) Payments

We work only with trusted payment providers. Your payment is processed securely at checkout, and we never store your full card details.

7) Digital delivery

Digital files are delivered via download links (typically emailed after purchase and/or shown on the order confirmation page).

8) Returns, exchanges & EU withdrawal

Because we sell digital downloads, returns by mail do not apply.

EU consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts, with specific rules/exceptions for digital content supplied immediately (where the required consent/acknowledgement applies).

9) Digital items & license

Digital files are delivered by download link.

License (personal use + permission to sell handmade finished items)

What you may do:

  • Use our patterns/files for your own projects.

  • Sell your finished, handmade pieces that you personally stitched from Hooh.la patterns — e.g., a pillow you stitched and assembled, a framed piece you stitched, small items you hand-finish. You may sell them at craft fairs or via online marketplaces (Etsy, Shopify, etc.).

What you may not do:

  • No redistribution/resale/sharing of the files or charts (digital or printed), in whole or in part. Do not upload, email, resell, or share the files or scans/photocopies.

  • No mass production or outsourcing. The “sell finished items” permission is for one-of-a-kind or small-batch handmade pieces you stitch yourself. No factory production, subcontracting, print-on-demand, or licensing to manufacturers.

  • No derivatives that replace the original. Do not convert our designs into other competing products (e.g., printed fabric, printable art, machine-embroidery files, NFTs) or new charts that compete with Hooh.la.

Attribution & branding

  • Attribution is appreciated but not required. If you credit, please use: “Stitched from a Hooh.la pattern” or “Design by Hooh.la”.

  • Do not use our logo/brand in a way that suggests endorsement or partnership, and please don’t use our product photos in your listings — photograph your own finished piece.

10) Safety

Needlecraft may involve sharp tools (needles, scissors). Please use safely and keep tools away from small children and pets.

11) Warranty, liability & force majeure

If we make a mistake in a file we provide, we’ll fix it (for example, by updating/replacing the digital file). We’re not responsible for outages or delays caused by third-party services beyond our control, but we’ll always help you troubleshoot.

12) Fraud prevention & fair use

To protect our customers, we may refuse or cancel an order (with a refund) if we suspect fraud, abuse or obvious pricing errors.

13) Promotions

Promotional offers, discount codes and sales can’t be combined unless we clearly say so.

14) Disputes & friendly resolution

We prefer to resolve issues directly — iryna@hooh.la is the fastest way.

Complaints & ADR (Portugal)

  • You may submit a complaint via Portugal’s Livro de Reclamações (Electronic Complaints Book).

  • For consumer disputes, you may contact CNIACC — Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo.

15) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time (for example, when we add new features). The version and date at the top tell you when they changed. Orders placed before a change are governed by the Terms in force at the time of your order.
